Thought of the week

Whatever vocation you decide on, track down the best people in the world at doing it and surround yourself with them. Scott Weiss

Welcome back after the Holiday Season and a Happy New Year to all.

Once again another year has come to an end for another year.
We trust everyone has survived for another year.

Our meeting today is a club assembly so we can start our year with goals and business to be addressed by considering the following:

  1. Indicate the amount of financial assistance our projects need.
Set suggested contribution levels to encourage donations.
  2. Define our projects’ need for volunteers. Allow volunteers to select
    their time availability online.
  3. Create a list of items that are needed to achieve our projects’ goals. Contributors can pick specific items to donate.
  4. Find local or international partners to help complete our projects.  Indicate the types of connections our projects need such as international clubs, subject matter experts, and more.

The theme for this month is Vocational Service. We are looking forward to a prosperous year and some very exciting speakers.  There is a saying that goes something like this; You get out of things in life what you put in……Let’s put in loads of effort and put our Rotary Club on the map.
